Potty Training Success

Well... we have finally done it!! Our almost 2 1/2 year old is officially potty trained! She has always had an independent personality and she was beyond ready to start going potty by herself! She has now abandoned her little potty and goes on the big potty, lol. She doesn't even tell you she has to go- she just walks to the bathroom takes care of business, washes her hands, and comes out like it's no big deal! Now I just hope the rest of our kids will be that easy!!

Baby # 3

Whitley and I will now be moving from a one on one to a zone defense!! That's right our family is expanding and baby Foster is due April 12, 2014!!!

I told Whitley we were pregnant by putting together a present with a few items that he would like and then the pregnancy test. I told him on our weekend getaway. It was so nice to share the news with him and just be with him for a few days!!

Mommy/ Daddy mini Vacation

Whitley and I went on a mini vacation to Florida. We had so much fun on our vacation that we wanted to go back just the two of us. When we got to the hotel we were upgraded to a suite, I guess the guy could tell we needed a getaway! The alone time spent with my husband was amazing! You really can't beat an ocean view, especially in a jacuzzi!!! We also went on a wave runner dolphin tour that was an amazing experience. We saw dolphins and a hammerhead shark! I am so thankful for my husband and so blessed to have my family, who kept the kids so we could have this much needed mini vacation. Here are a few pics from our trip!

Mr. Right

Whitley was my first love and my first heartbreak. We went our separate ways after dating for 2 years. I went on to college and he went on to work on his career. Not quite the storybook story I had hoped for. But just as quickly as this man walked out of my life 8 years later walks in. I was in a bad place in my life. I was in the process of getting out of a failed marriage and reconnecting with Whitley was such a blessing in desguise. After being apart from Whitley for that many years and dating around in college plus experiencing a bad marriage, I can confidently say that there is no man that compares to him. Whitley and I got married on June 6 on the beach in Florida. It was my dream wedding and I still can't believe that I married this awesome man and that I let leave so many years ago. He is the best stepdad in the world to our Brynna and an awesome father to our son, Brandt. I couldn't ask for a better man to stand by my side to face life's obstacles. He is a very hard working man with one sexy body. I am completely head over heels in love and very attracted to this man I get to come home to everyday and get the privilege to call my husband. He is so selfless and is there for me at the drop of a dime. He is my prince charming, the syrup to my waffles, the apple of my eye, the one I can unconditionally love and respect till the day we die, and my true soul mate. He is the spiritual leader in our house and I will stand by him always. Whitley Foster- I love you so much!!!

Vacation 2013

This summer we went to Fort Walton Beach, Florida for vacation. We stayed in a 3 bedroom 2 bath condo that was our paradise for a week. This was Whitley, Brynna, & Brandt's 1st visit to the beach! We had a great time. Brynna was more found of the lazy river outside our condo than the ocean. She didn't like the waves. Brandt was a laid back baby and was comfortable anywhere we went. That sweet baby fell asleep on the beach, in his float on crab island, and on the boat ride. He could go to sleep anywhere, lol. Whitley loved crab fishing and swimming in the ocean. Everyone loved the beach, which is good because we will definitely be going back! We stopped at the Duck Commander warehouse in Monroe, Louisiana on the way! We ate at some great restaurants: Fudpucker's, Crab Trap, & AJ's Seafood and Oyster Bar.We went to The Track on night for some fun riding rides. Whitley and I also went Para-sailing.We rented a pontoon boat one day and went out on the ocean. We stopped to look for shells and then parked at Crab Island for some fun in the sun!

Brandt Man

Our sweet sweet little boy! Brandt, born December 4, 2012, is our wonderful surprise. He is the absolute best baby anyone could ask for. He has always been a great sleeper, never having his days & nights confused and not hard to put to sleep. He has mastered sitting up and is currently working on crawling. He does, however, have his little army crawl that he uses to get around. He loves his big sister and imitates her when possible and always wants to see what she is up to! He has the most adorable laugh and a smile that melts your heart. He has alot of his daddy's features which means he will be a heart-breaker for sure! Brandt, like his sister, is a breastfed baby. I made the choice to breastfeed Brynna and although it didn't last long, I new it was something I was going to do with Brandt. Aside from food and cereal, he has been exclusively breastfed for almost 8 months!!! Brandt has been a great blessing/addition to our family, besides it helps make the house equal (2 males 2 females). Brandt started having food around 6 months and loves it!!! He has not been accustom to some fruits, he gets a real soured face, but overall he eats everything you put in front of him!!He looks up to his big sister and she absolutely adores him! They play so well together and I can't wait to see how good they play once he starts walking and when they are older!! Brandt Neal Foster, daddy, Brynna, & I love you to the moon & back!!!!!!

Brynna Brynna

This little princess who graced her presence with the world on March 18, 2011! Brynna is now almost 2 1/2 years old. She has a very independent personality. I have come to that conclusion because there is not a door in the house she can't open. She can open doors with the child proof covers on or with the deadbolts locked. She can even open the garage door. Oh and if she wants something to eat and she sees that mommy or daddy whit are busy, then she gets a chair from the kitchen table and pushes it over to the pantry and gets what she wants out. This is how she has managed to have Oreo cookies for breakfast. She can't quite get the refrigerator door opened yet, thank goodness, but I feel the day is coming. As this independent personality sometimes feels like a curse, like I am definitely paying for my raising, it's also a blessing. Brynna loves to help do laundry, dishes, cleaning the house, and help out with little brother. When I dust she likes to go around with the dry duster and get the dust off all the furniture. Brynna likes to load the dishwasher, I do have to rearrange a few items after she is finished, lol. Aside from her personality she has the cutest smile, which you can now see so much better since we have completely given up the Paci!!!!!!!!!  Brynna up until this past weekend has been addicted to her Paci. She would have to carry around multiple ones. She had it with her all the time, so you can see how it's a big deal that she doesn't have them anymore. It was an easier process that I thought it would be and we are relieved!! There is so much joy this little girl has brought into my life in just the short amount of time she has been alive. I love her so much and eagerly anticipate what she sill say, do, or come up with next!! Brynna Cecile Irvin- Daddy Whit, Brandt and I love you with all of our hearts!!!!
